Shoes
When it comes to shoes
We wear different shoes for different occasions and quite often it’s one small detail that makes the difference between feeling comfortable or not.
Shoe shopping
Feet tend to swell during the day so it’s better to buy new shoes in the afternoon or evening.
Shoes should fit and feel comfortable right off. Ill-fitting shoes can really hurt on a long walk.
Let your feet breathe during the day. Choose materials that are flexible and breathe, such as leather or nylon mesh.
High heels and health
Keep a change of shoes: use comfortable shoes for commuting to work and wear your high heels when you arrive.
Be prepared: normally fashionable shoes are more uncomfortable to wear, so take a pair of nylons or a second pair of shoes and use pressure protection products wherever needed.
Give your feet a break: a day in high heels leaves your feet tired and your heels burning. Treat them with a gentle massage or a relaxing foot bath.
