Relax your spine
Strengthening your spine is as easy as following this exercise. Very benefitial for your upright posture.
DIFFICULTIES KEEPING UPRIGHT POSTURE
Exercise step by step
Objective: Strengthening the upper
spine to promote upright posture while
standing and sitting.
Starting Position: Stand on your knees
with your upper body balanced as far as possible forwards.
Movement: Hold your arms parallel to
your torso and stretch them to the back.
Pull your shoulder blades together while
turning your palms inwards Do this one
at a time and then return to starting
position. Repeat 3 sets of 10.
Before you begin any of these exercise routines, be sure to check with your doctor. Once you have your doctor’s approval, begin exercising slowly and stop if you feel any pain or discomfort. Make sure to rest if you feel you are overexerting yourself.
